The Roles and Tasks of the legal Affairs Department

The department of the legal affairs has many Tasks and responsibilities necessary to ensure that no violation of market operations and activities of the rules, regulations and legislations.
Accordingly, it leads to support the legal framework and increase the awareness of workers and those who dealing with the market.


The Tasks of the Legal Department:-

1. Giving the legal opinion for the related activities and replying the legal inquiry of the other departments in the market.
2. Participation to prepare the rules, legislations, and regulations related to the market.
3. Preparing the legal studies related to the different market operations and making out the results and showing them to the market management committee.
4. Preparing and reviewing all the contracts and agreements which the market drawn up.
5. Working as specialist legal experts of the stock market with the specialized courts, and giving the opinion for the issues and actions that the market represents as a party of it.
6. Follow up any action whether the market brings it, or it brings against the market. In addition to coordinating with the external advisor of the market about these actions.
7. Executing the issuing decisions of the court body about the securities.
8. Undertaking to investigate the worker of the market about the disobediences related to the market.
9. Undertaking the complaints that the market management submitted to the department through the out side parties in order to respond them and remove the causes.
